I'd Like to Introduce you to a New Friend!!

Being that the weather is getting colder - we knew we had to bring our little lemon tree inside. So as we were placing it down in our garage - Jeff says to me - "oh, wow! Look at that - that's a big spider!!" Of course I freaked out and couldn't believe my eyes.

So I just had to share the pictures with all of you. So you could enjoy seeing our new friend!! I've since looked him up online and think he's a cat-faced spider - harmless to humans - so I guess we're okay to let him hang out for a while. Although he does give me the hee-bee-gee-bees everytime I happen to glance his way. YIKES!!!

Is it pregnant? It looks kinda pregnant. You may have little cat-faced babies running around soon. lucky!
That's pretty grose. I would have summonsed someone to come and "take care of" my little furry fat friend. You're nice to let him hang with you!

Oh, sick! That's one thing that just creeps me out! You are way to nice to let him keep his home in your garage! I'd definately be sending him (actually I'd have someone else send him for me) to a new home far, far away from here. Of course, that would be after a deadly, blood-curdling scream that would've erupted out of my mouth! We already recently had to send 3 black widow friends to their NEW home after trying to make their home in OUR garage! Creepy!

Yikes, that is one big spider!! He wouldn't be living in my garage either, he would have meet a very untimely death at my house. (or maybe that would be a timely death!) :)

Are you sure it's not a "she"?? Do you know how many babies spiders can have? You're house will be crawling with the little cat faces! Eeewwww! If you don't want to kill it, you should at least take it up to the hillside and set him (or her) free far away from your cute little lemon tree.

Just to calm you all down a bit - this little spider friend decided to go on an adventure. Jeffrey had sprayed the whole garage and every entry of our house for spiders. When the spider decided to leave the lemon tree to see what else he could eat - he croaked!!
